King County Democrats

If I decide to officially run for office. I will be seeking endorsements from various organizations. One of them will be the King County Democrats . The first thing you have to do to seek an endorsement from them. Is to file out a questionnaire. There is no questionnaire for 2026 yet. I will be posting the questions and what my answers might be. To the 2025 questionnaire below. 






COMMON QUESTIONS


  1. Are you a Democrat?
    Absolutely. I’ve been a proud Democrat my entire life and continue to believe in the values of equity, justice, and opportunity for all.
  2. Have you ever been a member of another political party?
    No. I have always been a member of the Democratic Party.
  3. Does your campaign have a code of conduct for staff and volunteers?
    Not yet. Still very small. But I will be working on that. 


State Representative and State Senator


  1. Reforming the regressive tax system?
    I support  closing corporate loopholes, and implementing a fairer wealth tax to fund critical public services.
  2. Support for public education?
    We must fully fund special education, expand early learning access, and raise teacher pay. Education equity is the foundation of opportunity.
  3. Affordable housing?
    Build more. Build smarter. Build everywhere. I support zoning reform, increased state housing trust fund investments, and protections for renters.
  4. Equitable access to health care?
    Health care is a human right. We must expand Apple Health, invest in community clinics, and push for a public option with mental health parity.

Kincaid Gun Control Policy

             I feel there has been a big whole in the debate on gun control policy. I feel that the focus has been on laws that will do nothing. To protect people from the daily street crime that is happening. They has never been a focus on stolen handguns. And on preventing guns from getting stolen. As you know. Home invasions and car break ins happen every day. And many times this results in guns being stolen. A criminal should not be able to simply break a glass window. And then walk away with a bag full of guns. In a matter of minutes. There is no federal law requiring the secured storage of guns. A child safety lock comes with a gun. But there is no real requirement that you use it. And that doesn’t prevent a gun from being stolen. Like a lock box or safe would. A few states have laws requiring the safe storage of guns.
